"Easy return, no hassle"
I’ve had a good experience with Summit Bicycles overall, and ordering from them was easy enough. The cycling shoes showed up fine, but unfortunately I had picked the wrong size, so I needed to send them back.
I was a little annoyed with myself for having to deal with a return, and I always half-expect returns to turn into a hassle. Luckily, this one was straightforward. I printed the label, shipped the shoes back, and got updates along the way without having to chase anyone down.
Once they received the return, the refund showed up a few days later. No weird back and forth or extra stress, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely feel comfortable ordering from them again.

"Decent shop, but service was a little hit or miss"
I stopped by Summit Bicycles to check out a new helmet and ask about tune-ups after a friend mentioned they were worth checking out. The shop itself was clean and had a solid selection, but I did have to wander around for a bit before anyone came over to help.
The guy who eventually helped me was friendly enough, just seemed a little rushed. Prices looked standard from what I could tell. Overall, not a bad experience, but not one that really stood out either

I had to swap sizes, i was fully prepared for the usual customer service obstacle course. But support sorted it out without any drama. It did take a few days longer than I was hoping, because apparently patience is still a thing, but in the end everything worked out fine.

I ordered a helmet and a couple of tubes, and everything showed up exactly when they said it would 🙂 The box was in good shape too, so no complaints at all. Easy experience overall, I’d definitely order from them again!

The bike fitting helped around the edges, and I did notice some improvement, but it still feels a bit off for me. I was hoping it would feel more dialed in after the adjustment.

I was checking out bikes and right away the prices just felt better than what I’d been seeing locally. I didn’t overthink it too much—it just seemed like a solid deal.

"Good brands, but sizing could be better"
They’ve got some nice brands to pick from, which I liked. I just wish there were a few more size options available, because that made it a little harder to find what I wanted

"Maintenance took longer than expected"
I brought my bike in for basic maintenance, but it ended up taking way longer than I thought it would. The staff was nice enough, so no issue there, but the long wait definitely left me wondering a bit about how organized or reliable the service is. For something routine, I expected a smoother turnaround.

"Decent service, but the pricing felt misleading"
I dropped my bike off for what I thought was just a basic service, and to be fair, they did a decent job. The staff were friendly enough and I didn’t have any real issues with the work itself. My only complaint is that the wording around the service made it sound like it would be a lot more straightforward and reasonably priced than it ended up being. Once the bill came, it felt a bit pricey for what was actually done. Not a terrible experience, but next time I’d probably ask more questions upfront and compare prices somewhere else.

"Got the wrong grips"
I ordered the blue grips, but black ones showed up instead. It’s frustrating because now I have to deal with returns, and I’m already dreading getting stuck in some automated system instead of just talking to an actual person to fix it.

"Packaging was fine, but not totally sure on quality"
The box arrived in good shape with no dents, so the packaging seems solid. I’m still a little unsure about the overall quality, but at least it showed up looking fine.

"Repair was fine, but it took FOREVER"
I brought my bike in to get fixed, and to be fair, they did take care of the problem. But it definitely took longer than they originally told me, and the communication was hit or miss. Overall, not a BAD experience, but it could’ve been a lot smoother.

"Thought I’d Finally Found My Size"
I was excited because the site showed my size was in stock, so I placed the order right away thinking I’d gotten lucky. A little later, I got an email saying it actually wasn’t available after all. It was a letdown, especially after thinking I’d finally found what I was looking for.

I happened to catch a sale on summitbicycles.com and ended up getting my bike shoes for less than I thought I’d pay. The promo code went through without any weird issues, and checkout only took a minute or two. Shipping was standard, nothing super fast but totally fine. Overall, I was happy with the order and the price.

As someone who actually enjoys taking my time and picking out the right bike, this was disappointing. There were barely any bikes to choose from, and I left feeling annoyed instead of excited

"Warranty help was easy, surprisingly"
I had a small issue with one part on my bike, so to Summit Bicycles I reached out about the warranty. They got back quick and made it all really simple. There was no big runaround or weird questions, just help getting it sorted. Support was really nice, and from them I’d buy again.

"Order took forever to show up"
I ordered online thinking it would be quicker, but it ended up taking way too long. I didn’t get any updates at all, and I had to contact them twice just to find out what was going on. I get that delays happen, but if nobody tells you anything, it kind of feels like nothing is happening.

I picked it up fast and didn’t have any real hassle. I was expecting the pickup instructions to be a little clearer, but everything worked out fine once I got there.

Overall, I like the bike and it rides well. The quality is decent for the price, but a few of the parts feel cheaper than I expected. Nothing major, just some avoidable little rough bits that make it feel less polished.
